About

Menufo gets its name from two words: menu and info. The site covers that and nothing else. It publishes food menus for restaurants across the United States, with prices, calorie details, item descriptions and opening hours. The goal is a clean, fast page that answers the question people have before they order: what’s on the menu, and what does it cost? That applies to a national fast food chain, a neighborhood cafe or an ice cream shop.

Why Menufo Exists

Restaurant menus are surprisingly hard to find online. Many chains show prices only inside their apps, after you choose a location. Smaller restaurants often have an outdated PDF menu or no menu at all. Search results fill the gap with pages full of pop-ups, prices from years ago and menus that don’t match what the counter is serving.

Menufo puts the full menu on one page, organized by category, with every item described in plain terms. You can read it on your phone in a parking lot and know your order before you reach the speaker.

How We Collect Menu Information

Each menu on Menufo is put together from public sources and checked against more than one of them.

  • Official restaurant websites and apps, for menu items, descriptions, calories and nutrition information where the restaurant publishes them
  • Delivery platform listings such as DoorDash and Uber Eats, which restaurants manage through their own partnerships with those platforms
  • Third-party menu and price sources, used to cross-check figures and catch recent changes
  • Direct contact with the restaurant when its menu or prices aren’t clearly listed anywhere online, which mostly happens with new or smaller restaurants

When sources disagree, we use the figure most of them support and note on the page that prices may vary by location. Each menu page shows the date of its most recent review, so you can see how current the information is.

About Our Prices

The prices listed on Menufo are estimates. Fast food prices vary by location, since franchise owners set their own prices and costs differ from city to city. Prices on delivery platforms also tend to run higher than in-store prices, so the amount at the counter may sit slightly below the figure on the page.

For an exact total, you can check the restaurant’s own app or ask at the counter before ordering, as local promotions and sales tax also change the final amount.

Where We Started

When we started building Menufo, we chose to begin with local and regional fast food chains in the United States. Many of these restaurants are small, but they have loyal followings in their own cities, and people search for their menus every day without finding a clear answer.

Coverage now includes national chains such as Chick-fil-A and In-N-Out Burger alongside those regional favorites. A restaurant earns a page on Menufo when people line up for it, whatever its size.

What’s Coming Next

Menufo is just getting started. Over the coming months, we aim to add more fast-food chains, along with menus from bakeries, coffee shops, and ice cream shops across the United States and Canada.

Our Independence

Menufo is an independent website. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of the restaurants we cover, and restaurants do not pay to appear on the site. Brand names, logos and menu item names belong to their respective owners.

Corrections and Suggestions

Menus change, and we want ours to keep up. If you spot an outdated price, a missing item or a menu change at your local restaurant, let us know and we will review the page. If a restaurant in your city deserves a page on Menufo, send us its name and location.

You can reach us at hello@menufo.com for corrections, suggestions or any other questions.
